SURF Music

SURF Music is a global music marketplace based in Tokyo, Japan.

I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with them for the past year and four months, helping to shape our digital voice and expand our presence in the online music space. As a creative, it’s incredibly important for me to work with brands whose mission aligns with my personal values, and I’m grateful to feel that way about SURF. They are doing the important work necessary to change the landscape of the music industry and empower artists, and I’m honored to support their mission through my passion for video creation.

I’ve absolutely loved working with this team and feel grateful to be surrounded by people who encourage me to collaborate with new people and brands (like you!).

My work with SURF Music continues to evolve and grow, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to expand alongside all my clients. My current responsibilities include:

  1. Creating organic and paid human-hosted video content for Instagram (@discover.surf) and TikTok (@discover.surf)
  2. Daily social media management and community engagement
  3. Social media video editing
  4. Social media graphic design, creating assets in both English and Japanese
  5. Pitch deck design
  6. Writing and designing newsletters for our creator community

ABC Trainerize

ABC Trainerize was my first fully UGC-dedicated client, and the one that made me realize how much I love this work! As an internet-obsessed person with aspirations of commercial acting, this role let me merge those two passions in a way that aligned with things I’m already deeply invested in: health and wellness, movement, and entrepreneurship.

For ABC Trainerize, I:

  1. Created short-form videos for TikTok & long-form videos for YouTube
  2. Adapted existing blog content into video contentĀ
  3. Researched and applied social media trends
  4. Wrote social media video scripts for client review and incorporated feedback
  5. Edited both my own and team-produced long-form YouTube videos

Logitech

Through my personal digital work on YouTube and TikTok, I earned a place in the first-ever Logitech for Creators, Creator Cohort. This involved creating four short-form videos per month over a three-month period, which were published on the Logitech for Creators TikTok (@logitechc).

This opportunity was incredibly expansive for me, as it reinforced the importance of consistently showing up and doing the work (even as a micro-influencer). When it feels like no one is watching, staying committed can lead to opportunities to collaborate with the brands of your dreams.

As a member of Logitech’s Creator Cohort, I:

  1. Wrote scripts and produced 12 short-form videos for the Logitech for Creators TikTok, as well as one TikTok on my personal account to direct my audience to their platform.
  2. Took creative direction from the brand’s brief, added my own creative spin, and incorporated brand feedback.
  3. Researched and integrated trending topics, and aligned my videos with tentpole events, such as Women’s History Month.

    MEDvidi

As mentioned previously, it’s really important to me to work with brands whose mission aligns with my personal goals and values. A few years ago, after a lifetime of struggling with focus-related issues, I was officially diagnosed with ADHD. This is not uncommon, as women are often diagnosed later in life. That diagnosis, along with receiving the right support and learning how to work with my brain rather than against it, allowed me to harness my creative potential in ways I could never have imagined, including the very work I’ve shared with you in my portfolio today.

I share this because, when I was growing up, there weren’t platforms like MEDvidi that made receiving ADHD support and a tailored treatment plan accessible, especially for freelancers like myself who are navigating the healthcare system.

So when MEDvidi reached out and offered me the opportunity to create three UGC videos for their platform, I jumped at it.

I understand that not every brand is seeking a full-time content creator, and I’m happy to create flexible content packages tailored to each client’s needs, Ā just as I did for MEDvidi.

    For MEDvidi, I:

    1. Wrote scripts and produced three short-form videos for their TikTok (@medvidi_com)
    2. Took creative direction from their social media lead, creating videos that aligned with both my authentic experience and the brand’s needs
    3. Researched and implemented trending sounds relevant within ADHD online communities
